I went as a complete beginner, never touched a slope in my life. Staff were absolutely amazing at the ski school. The slopes were absolutely awesome, food and beer top quality. Im a VERY fussy eater, and I ate like a queen daily.
Cannot wait to be able to go back and upgrade from novice.

Very good and nice area, only proper baby slope is at the top of a chairlift so would have to watch times for getting down the mountain.
Really good runs and well maintained, with many efficient links to the other resorts. Many good bars and restaurants on the slopes and in town. Evening & night runs down the mountain are very good in the area.
Local area has all amenities and shops for all needs with good bus routes connecting them.
The ski schools have AMAZING and friendly instructors who are super helpful and great at teaching.
Really like this resort and already have my next trip back to the area planned!

Alpendorf/St. Johann is my favourite ski/snowboard destination we are going again this year for the forth year in a row.
There's a good selection of ski in and out hotels near the slopes witch we prefer for the obvious reasons .
Thers a good selection of modern and traditional restaurants/pubs so plenty to do in the evenings.
Id say the food from the restaurant's on the mountain is exceptionally good.
The ski runs are very well groomed in my opinion and set out in a good way so that there's a good variety of runs for different levels of experience my friends learnt to ski hear and they are now onto the black runs.
Overall 10/10 from me will continue to return Yearly for as long as I can.

The resort in Alpendorf is all round brilliant. Lots of facilities, infinite places to stop for a beer or a bite on the slopes. The resort is split into three parts, I strongly recommend exploring them all and taking the Valley lift into the further areas, as the slopes tend to be quieter and less overrun. The Snowpark is also brilliant and fun to try out new tricks and if you're looking for fun there's also practice slalom routes and a speed limit test aswell as an obstacle course.

Skied St Johann for Christmas break and was a great experience. Hit with a fresh powder on Christmas Eve and being early in the season, slopes were empty enough to enjoy to yourself but crowded enough to feel welcoming. Gondola/Lift experience great and easy to traverse across the mountain to access other resorts and runs. Great time through and through will come back.

Best resort for money. Amazing blacks, reds and blues for the beginners. I come here every year and I am never disappointed or dissatisfied.

Great resort for those that love long wide reds! Linked to the rest of Salzburg Sportwelt ski area a very large ski area. Not many blacks. If bad weather or wind closes the link lifts the resort very quickly becomes quite small. Lots of night quality 6/8 man lifts mean queues are short. Lots of great on mountain restaurants.
