Spent a Christmas week in Schruns, Silvretta Montafon.

First time here and it didnt disappoint.
Great linked ski areas with varied terrain, lots of wide open pistes, great lifts and all round fantastic ski spot!
Schruns town is so lovely and had a Christmas market all over the week. Supermarkets and lively restaurants too!
Some great bars and Apres up on the mountain.

We lucked out with perfect conditions and would absolutely go again!

I have skied in Silvretta a handful of times over a 15 year period - usually just for a couple of days whilst staying in the neighbouring resort of Gargellen. The Montafon lift pass grants access to a few resorts, and the bus required to get from one resort to another.
The snowpark in Silvretta is insanely good for a smaller resort. Lots of easier beginner hits, and some much bigger lines - that Id usually avoid. A quick chair lift next to it means you can lap it many times.
When Ive visited in the past, Silvretta is usually quite quiet.
Brilliant resort, with some seriously long pistes.
