The Skiers' Guide to Scheffau - SkiWelt

Been to Scheffau a few times now. Low altitude but very good snow making equipment but suffers when the temperature rises. Not much in the way of apres ski but more family oriented accommodation. Lots of great places up on the mountain and being Austria, good value as well.

The skiwelt is a brilliant place to ski. It now has a super pass that opens more locations to the skier. The restaurants on the mountains are excellent and staff are very friendly.
The hotels in the village are excellent and reasonably priced.
Looking forward to going back again in march for our 14th year. We have skied in Bulgaria, Italy, France and other parts of Austria but always come back to scheffau to ski and see our friends xx

This resort is amazing for all levels! Been 14 years in a row and as long as you are willing to take a gamble with snow it is so so worth it!

Ive been to scheffau 15 times or so now
The ski school is fantastic and there are so many places to eat and drink throughout the day
