The Skiers' Guide to Pitztaler Glacier

Spent a week in Pitztal, the conditions were great and there are some good long runs with varied terrain.
I did get unlucky and one day was particularly windy, so the gondolas were shut all day

The most awesome place to ski or snowboard for all abilities. Highest point in Austria on the glazier, spectacular views and fantastic restaurant at the top.

Small resort but not a lot going on so almost no lines. The park is very small but there is a lot of good off piste terrain.

Pitztal Glacier can be cold in december and january. Long Runs for all difficulties, perfect snow. Height up to 3000m which means the Air might benthin when breathing.
