Visited the Oetz/Hochoetz for a first family ski holiday with 5 and 7 year old. Very good ski school at MaliSport and both boys doing gentle reds by the end of the week. Ski pass also includes Kuhtai but requires a short bus ride to access. Great lifts and plenty of pistes. Family friendly and AllSuite resort apartments were fantastic and reasonably priced with heated pool which the kids loved. Overall we loved it for our use case.

Hochoetz is a beautifully scenic resort, included on the Kühtai liftpass. It is well worth spending a day or two here, if only just for the lovely restaurants, view of the Oetztal and paragliders! The skiing is all great, particularly nice for families, with lots of easy, enjoyable terrain.

A brilliant resort with plenty of options and space for large crowds. Very family and beginner friendly with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and hydrate with your own choice of beverage. The runs are well groomed with great options for off piste between the runs. There are lifts everywhere which can take you far from the road side and up into the mountains. This is a well overlooked resort.
