Recent Reviews

Hochoetz is a beautifully scenic resort, included on the Kühtai liftpass. It is well worth spending a day or two here, if only just for the lovely restaurants, view of the Oetztal and paragliders! The skiing is all great, particularly nice for families, with lots of easy, enjoyable terrain.

A brilliant resort with plenty of options and space for large crowds. Very family and beginner friendly with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and hydrate with your own choice of beverage. The runs are well groomed with great options for off piste between the runs. There are lifts everywhere which can take you far from the road side and up into the mountains. This is a well overlooked resort.

Fabulous family friendly resort but ideal for a range of skiers. Not large but access to the linked area of Kuhtai for more kilometres. Sheltered and safe with good altitude to be snow sure. Tree lined runs and traditional mountain huts serving Austrian specialities. Well served by modernifts and gondolas. Oetz itself has a range of accommodation options and great places to eat. The whole Otztal valley is well connected by ski buses which are free if you have a guest card. Cheaper than other resorts in the valley but easy to ski away in the larger resorts of Solden and Gurgl. A big bonus is that it's easy to access via public transport being well served by rail and bus just over an hour from Innsbruck Airport. Would recommend to anyone wanting a traditional Austrian ski holiday that won't break the bank.
