also have an amazing time in flachau there are a big variety of slopes for different abilities and great restaurants around. Very good apres ski bars too.

Good resort, family friendly with lots of different runs. Main runs could get busy and because there wasn't lots of snow it could get quite icy. Good food on piste!

Went on a school trip!!! Was great so fun and our instructors were lovely. The chips at the apres were delicious and yummy!! Had the best time and was a fab first trip.

I went on a 4 week snowboarding trip with work! They facilitated our needs extremely well from the snow park to closing of slopes to allow our training.

The resort its self is a brilliant resort ranging from beginner friendly slopes to slopes to push you out of your comfort zone. Extremely well maintained and a very good level of snow being on a glacier.

A gem in the Austrian alps, be prepared to be surrounded by wide cruisy blues, but also more of a challenge for the more experienced skier. Snow park is very varied.

Apres was typically austrian, not stopping until late late and a welcoming local community. Prices throughout and on mountain very reasonable.

We’ve been to Flachau with the family many times and enjoyed every trip! typically we’ve been at Christmas and enjoyed quiet slopes, good snow, great hospitality and food! Our kids are 17, 15 and 10 and all really great skiers so they enjoy the terrain and expanse of the slopes! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed every trip and will continue to return!

This is a great resort to connect with the rest of the the surrounding areas, especially Wagrain and St Johan Im Pongau..

Really enjoy this ski area. Lots of family friendly food spots. We stayed in Sankt Johann which was easy enough to bus to the slopes.

Flachau has some ok blue routes but they get very busy during holiday season. There is good connecting buses to other ski resorts and a lot of ski resorts are connected via gondolas and chairlifts and ski pass covers them all. Good variety so you can find less busy areas and not feel bored.

Great experience for the whole family of 5, kids in the ski school, adults on the slopes. We also were lucky with the wearher, good snow after recent snowfalls, but kaiserwetter on any other way, blue skis, no clouds!

Flachau and the wider area has a great selection of mainly red runs, plenty of speedy and efficient lifts. Rote 8 and Flying Mozart are big cruising piste routes down the mountain lined by trees. Mountain restaurants are abundant and offer large portions at reasonable prices; staff are super efficient and they are all modern and clean (especially the toilets!).
The Ski Amade area offers a big variety of routes across Flachau, Wagrain, St Johann and Zauchansee loads of runs to fill a week and great with the family

Its a great ski resort, always love to go there! There is a blue slope for the beginners but its the ultimate destination for intermediate skiers, with a bunch of red slopes to the side that are less crowded.

Very nice resort I went in February and it was busy but if you get up early and get a good morning skiing in your fine. Go enjoy

Ive been going to the Flachau region and all the surrounding mountains for about 6 years consecutively now, the area offers a piece of everything for all riding styles. Ive personally had instruction from the schools there and the staff are very professional and super friendly.

From parks rats at absolute park, to powder chasers over the other side of Flachauwinkl the resort offers great diversity.

Food, entertainment and apres ski options are plentiful and all with in accessible distance of the centre of Flachau.

One of my favourite resorts hands down.

Good lift system with several different valley entrance points. Pistes well groomed and clear signage. Runs to. St Johanne are fairly short and need several short gondola lifts but give the feeling of travelling around, not 3 valleys but still enjoyable.
Short ski bus ride up the valley to Flachauwinkl is worth the effort as it gives great access to an extensive terrain park on one side and lots of open slopes on the other side towards Zauchensee.
Flights to Salzsburg and train to St Johann work well.

Simply one of the best now extensively connected areas of skiing I have ever visited

Skiing to suit all - equipment on mountain superb - mountain restaurants of high quality in abundance -apres is lively - accomodations of high quality - people friendly and cultured and conditions generally stable but also supported by snow cannons
