Lovely little ski resort. Great for beginners and intermediates, with a good variety of red and blue runs available. Not amazing for experts with limited off piste and only one fairly short black run. Extremely popular with day trippers from Bavaria and families from Belgium/Netherlands.

Family friendly too, with some great food options available. Particularly recommend the Ganghofer Hütte for food, and Hochfeldern Alm on a sunny day.

Lift ticket a little pricey for its size at 65 per day (for comparison, the much much larger Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis pass is only 9 more expensive) but overall a nice choice for a day or two.

Overall a nice resort, not a big resort but enough runs for intermediate skiier on a shorter trip. Enjoyed the couple of restaurants available. Not great for the advanced skiers of the group. Quiet at the start of the season

Skiing is generally very good and enjoyable. Wide range of runs of all difficulty. Can sometimes get very choppy and busy later in the day but earlier in the day the slope quality is high. There's approximately 5 places to get food and drink and they are reasonably priced with a good selection.
There is a small ski park with some big and small jumps with grinds aswell.

I am an adult male and me and my wife have taken our two children(15 and 11) here, each year for the last 4 years. The ski school is very good quality and the resort as a whole is very family friendly. We invested in private group lessons for both of our kids together and the have made brilliant progress. Me and my wife often free ski/board during the day and love it here the resort is lovely and predominantly under the radar (not very busy). Overall brilliant family friendly resort for kids and young teens

Perfect resort a day of ski/snowboarding. Good variations of runs. Option to ride from highest point all the way to the bottom in one run. Fun snowpark and quality chair lifts.

From my recent trip to Ehrwald in Austria I thought that it was very good and well organised. Getting Skis and boots was very quick, the slopes were practically empty every day and the gondal/chairlifts were very new and quick. One bad thing about Ehrwald was the price of the food for example a small burger was 14.40.
