Went for a girls trip, nice places to eat and drink. Slopes were busy but manageable. Enjoyed being able to easily access other ski areas on the free bus.

Lovely area but town seemed run down and our hotel was below what I would expect from Austria .Mountain was great but lifts system could do with some money being spent and the same with the piste maintenance which appears to be on a budget.Snow conditions were sparse and the snow machines don't appear to be running

I love it there! Growing up my Dad would always take us there for skiing holidays! One of my favourite memories, this place will forever be special to me! Always stayed at the Happimag Resort in Bad Hofgastein

A little gem of a resort, not too far from Salzburg so short transfer. The architecture is incredible and the waterfalls spectacular! Very steep hills to get to lifts, good for stretching legs! Slight lack of town eateries, well nearly all booked up! Ski lockers a must but these get really busy! Skiing great for 3-5 days max, good groomed runs, nice variety. Also up road is Sports Gastein, some lovely quieter reds and great black back to base. Overall, loved the resort

Bad Gastien offer great views of the Austrian Alps. With the gondola being clean efficient and not busy so no waiting time to get on to it.
Slopes look well kept and good mixture of blues and reds. With there also being other landmarks on the mountain for non skiers. With it also having good train links to Salzburg. With them also have lot of restaurants and ski rentals in the town itself.

Several of the easier runs were not open when we visited. Make sure they have got plenty of snow before you go. The upper slopes were very busy because of the lack of snow lower down.
All in the lap.of the gods. The place is beautiful and a typical alpine village . We would go back here again if the snow was right.
