Great snow usually opens earlier than most resorts. Terrain park is top tier for the size of the resort.

Been riding here since I was a kid, as it's my local resort. Always a good time to be had, some days it almost feels like you're the only one on a run, others it's so packed it can be hard to find a spot to sit in the lodge. Terrain park, mogul runs and powder areas are some highlights of the mountain. Many intermediate/advanced runs and a plethora of beginner slopes. With ~700ft of vertical it's one of the biggest resorts in the province when it comes to the length of runs and variety of terrain to ride. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. I've been working the snowmaking team this season and absolutely loving it.

Terrible management, no communication. Honestly a joke of a system in place considering how much potential the hill has

Resort is great, usually not too busy so lift lines are short. Runs are well groomed and well maintained. Not too much off-piste or tree runs but its a great resort.

Been a member for most of my life, new ownership is promising. Spending lots of $ on infrastructure. Never a lift line, friendly staff, and when lake effect snow hits Searchmont it gets deep!

Its a good resort for northern Ontario but I think they should make there park a lot better, with adding a tow rope to get more runs in and other then that overall is good but cant compare to big resorts like whistler.

Searchmont is a nice local hill with short lift lines and is a good hill for the Midwest. It may be going through some growing pains as the new owners try to figure things out.

Needs work. Lodge is nice, accommodations are limited, but nice. Lifts are updated, groomers dont do a very good job. Half the runs are closed for ski team training on the weekends.

For Ontario Searchmont is the best there is. With a variety of terrain from difficult black diamonds to lengthy beginner runs you wont find anything better. With a decent amount of powder days and a quiet hill I almost dont want to share as to not ruin this hidden gem.
