Great little town with a great all round hill for all levels.
( Not a real party place at night if that is what you are looking for.)
Very reasonable priced condos (with kitchen) to relax after a day on the groomed runs or rest your legs after their bumps workout.

This place is very underrated. The terrain is amazing and they get a ton of snow. Lots of places to explore and push your limits. Its also not busy even when they get a dump of snow. Definitely a very family friendly place. The hotels are good and have affordable options for ski in and out. Will definitely be going back

Hidden Gem in a small ski town. Amazing powder and amenities. Rarely do you find a ski hill in Canada that is also an integral part of the town. Accommodation is available right on the slope for a true ski in ski out experience. Restaurants are available right at the hill or a paved/groomed trail to the Platzl outdoor walking area.

zero lift lines - lots more terrain than you might expect, super friendly people, mostly locals and those that travel for quieter slopes. Adjacent to some slack country and extensive XC trails.

Stayed for a week last year and despite the bad weather (no snow for days) the powdered slope kept everyone entertained. Having previously broken my leg in france I could barely stand up on my Skis but and incredible teacher helped me remember what I had learnt and rebuilt the confidence in me that I thought would never come back. If and when I ski again I will always be truely grateful for this opportunity to go again.

I like the quiet mountain vibe of Kimberly Mountain Resort. We were there on weekdays so it wasnt busy. No line ups on the chairs. The town is just a few minutes from the mountain so theres lots of dining options.

Lived in Kimberley and on a powder day, it is unmatched. Every run you can find fresh powder riding through the trees and on a bluebird day you won't find a better day snowboarding.

Great family resort. Cheaper than other hills in the area for a great family experience. Cheaper to stay at than Fernie and close enough to make it a day trip and save some money.
Great trails for snowshoe/fatbike/cross country skiing too.

Good experience, relatively calm hill with more family oriented terrain. Stayed just outside of Kimberley in Cranbrook and had some difficulties getting up the hill with icy roads but overall a good time skiing.

Kimberley resort is situated in small village recreated as a European type village
Great vibe and apres, plus accommodations very close. The hill is ok, decent terrain ,fair snow. Not spectacular but all around good. Family and some technical terrain. Not a destination resort. More for locals

Kimberley is my home hill and Ive been skiing it for about 10 years now, its great for almost everyone except those who enjoy a big terrain park and off piste. The terrain park is great for intermediate/beginner skiers but with the lack of jumps you can only progress so far. The groomers are really nice and theres a variety of steepness levels. Kimberley usually gets a good amount of snow and powder days throughout the year which is very enjoyable. Also throughout the year they do events which are very fun for all ages. The staff are very nice and welcoming and its just an overall great experience. The hill is pretty big but not as big as some hills nearby, so if youre looking for more off piste terrain and want to send cliffs etc Im not sure I could recommend Kimberley for that but for everything else its a great hill and an amazing place to bring your kids skiing because of the magic carpet and t bar that can help them improve fast. The hotels on the hill are very nice and there are great restaurants right at the base of the hill. Overall Ive had a great experience skiing at Kimberley/living in Kimberley and the variety of runs helped me improve my skiing ability at a good steady rate. It would be a super great spot for a family vacation/ski trip!!
