I great place to learn to ski. Three magic carpets. The facility, equipment and runs are well maintained. Location is great right in Calgary city limits.

The school is really good. Friendly staff who understand the level of each student and guide accordingly

Very fun, has lots of area of terrain parks and has a nice wide hill. Very good for learning to go faster/avoid things

Has a nice terrain park and jumps, but costs extra to have access to it. Food prices and ticket prices are pretty high but the hill is nice easy access for anyone in the City.

This is a ski hill in the city of Calgary, its very basic with basically 1 way down. You either go here as a beginner or for the park. They have an intermediate park, but then they have a half pipe which is kinda sick. Theres so many better mountains within a couple hours of Calgary that most skiers/snowboarders go to instead, but if youre only doing a half day or want to just do a quick park session then Winsport is fine.

Very good for beginners. Its very affordable and there are very simple straight runs that I found good to learn on. I found it very quick between getting my lift ticket and actually going on my first run.

The lift lines tend to be long. Ski lifts are older and they tend to have power outages on the days with the most snow. I would recommend Red Resort in Rossland for good quality snow and reliability.

Not the best place for beginners to learn how to snowboard, to short distance from top to bottom. Price are ok, but better go to mountains.

It's basically a place to learn. Some great instructors for all age levels but a small minority have been terrible for my kids as well. The hill is often an icy mess though and really busy which can be disastrous. However, has some of the greatest terrain park features you'll find anywhere, especially for experts.

Beatiful place to go snowboarding with your family. There aren't very much a lot of runs but is nice and it has a lot of parks and good food.
