Castle Mountain is a brilliant place to explore all levels of skiing. The mountain has a wide variety of terrain, from beginner runs and groomers, as well as the longest continuous chutes in Alberta. Steep and Deep!

Steep and challenging mountain, mostly blue and black diamond runs. Chairlifts are a bit dated, pretty slow, but not too busy of a hill, I didn't have any waits at any lifts.

A hidden gem off the beaten path that gets great snow and has a small family friendly hill feel. Its lift tickets are very reasonable compared to the more popular hills around it, and it has skill levels for all.

Great family hill. We went a few times with my kids race team for events and stayed at the hotel. Hill was well run, staff was friendly, snow was always great. Fall line is great. Terrain is varied for all levels of skiers. I highly recommend Castle for a quiet getaway if you are looking for a ski trip away from the hustle and bustle of larger resorts

Castle mountain is getting a new chair left from sunshine which is super exciting for the hill. It will be great for beginners and intermediate skiers. They have great private lessons if you like to have one on one with the instructor.

Castle Mountain is one of the best places in Canada to ski. Known for its moguls and swift slopes, it can give any level of rider that adrenaline rush. It is known the chair routes aren't the fastest, but the breathtaking scenery makes it all worth it.

Absolute best resort to go to to beat the crowds. So much tree skiing and options to find pockets of powder and pockets of serenity. Especially as most of the resort is without reception. Feels like a journey back in time. The slower chairlifts are worth it for the untracked terrain in the resort!!!

Castle is the best mountain hill that still has a local relaxed vibe. POW days are epic!! I would suggest checking it out. Airbnb ski in ski out is the way to go if youre planning on staying. Tbar pub is a good time

I went to this ski resort last year and is definitely better than ski resorts where Im from in Manitoba. You have great options for runs with easier ones and black runs. I did have a bad fall due to not stopping in time and their response to help was very quick. Staff were very accommodating and friendly which always make experiences better. The snow was also very nice to ski through. I also loved all the trees around the runs just added to the beauty of the slope. I like that you have an option to stay on the lift and go even higher up into the mountains. The black run was a bit out of my comfort as a skier but I still tried it and was able to do it an intermediate skier. I would 100% go back.
