Best Ski Resort for Powder in Idaho/Montana: Lookout Pass Ski Area - Powder Zones Rating 4.08/5
Lookout Pass truly shines when it comes to powder. Our reviewers mention that it's the "powder hole of the area with seemingly endless powder lines in the trees." With around 450 inches of maritime snowfall annually that tends to be drier than typical northwest snow, the mountain offers fantastic powder opportunities. One Snomad community member liked the "great location" and noted it has "some of the best powder I've ever rode on." The tree runs get particularly high praise from users who enjoy floating through fresh snow. If you're after those perfect powder days, Lookout Pass should definitely be on your radar.
