What Skiers Say About Beaver Mountain

Beaver Mountain is a small, family-owned resort in northern Utah that attracts skiers and snowboarders across all ability levels, from beginners learning for the first time to experts seeking off-piste terrain. Reviewers consistently praise minimal lift queues, especially on weekdays, affordable ticket prices compared to larger Utah resorts, and natural snow quality. The mountain offers varied terrain including groomers, tree runs, and backcountry access, plus two terrain parks. Common criticisms focus on the small lodge struggling to accommodate visitor numbers, limited food options with no alcohol served on-site, and weekend crowding despite generally quiet conditions.

Beaver Mountain is a small family owned resort and has been for a long time. They have 4 chair lifts, one of which runs just on weekends. They have plenty of options for every type of skier, and I always have a fantastic time there. They get great snow pretty frequently and have some epic powder days through January and February. Everyone is very friendly and the runs are a good length, especially off of Harrys Dream Lift and Marges Triple.

I have been going to this resort for over twenty years and still love it like I did when I was a kid. There's terrain for everybody, and the resort staff always greets you with a smile. I do wish there was a way to cut down the lines on weekends, that's the biggest draw back.

Super small resort but so fun! Extremely short lift lines on the weekends and on most weekdays you can get on with no wait at all. Great runs for all different types of skill levels so anyone can ski this mountain. Their two terrain parks are nice for the size and include a wide range of features. Great tree skiing with lots of different options. They do not however serve any alcohol at Beaver so you will have to bring your own. Also food options are very limited. However for just 70$ a day, you cannot find a better ski day for your money anywhere else!

Local mountain up in northern utah. Great off the beaten path powder runs. But also offers good groomed mainstream runs. Lodge isnt the best.
