The is a great resort considering its location in Southern California. Good variety of runs and lots of park features. Unfortunately crazy busy on weekends and you will wait a good amount of time for lifts. Great for weekday or spring skiing.

The snow summit experience is lovely, parking is great, if you dont want to pay the $30 for parking right at the resort you can go to their free parking lots which are a bit far away but no worries because they also provide (free) buss rides over to the resort dropping you off right at the entrance, no problem finding the parking lots either they have plenty of signs and employees making sure you get to where you want to go, they also have employees at the lot helping everyone park in an orderly manner, the resort also has little shops for any little things you might missing like that go pro stick you forgot back at home or the gloves your child lost on the way there, food is great, decently priced, and offers a good variety, theres various lil restaurants around the resort including one at the very top, environment is lovely including an outside area to eat while watching people reach the end of the ski course for those people who love watching people fall, all the employees are lovely and super friendly got a few fist bumps from some of them, slopes are fun and theres a good variety as long as you go when theyre all open, the resort also has rest areas about halfway down in case you need a quick breather or wait for your slow friend, cant forget about theyre wonderful freestyle area which is an area with rails and ramps for those who are a tad more daredevilish, I really recommend this resort for beginners and experienced runners a really little weekend getaway!!

Snow Summit is mostly for intermediate and advanced. Greens feel like easy blues. Mostly ice during this time of year with 2 lifts open. better to go later in season.

From the parking lot to the snow , everyone was helpful and friendly. (Employees) The lift lines looked long, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. A lot of in experienced boarders on the runs, still was a great ride. Not as many features as I would have like to see. Snow conditions not that great even for California.

I really love snow summit mostly because its close to where I live but, I really love how nice and accommodating, although their snow is kind of bad, its still snow and makes for a fun few days, although mammoth is much better I appreciate the convenience.

Snow Summit is a great family resort and for beginner and intermediate skiers with easy, well-groomed runs. Advanced skiers may find the terrain less inspiring, but it's ideal for learners or just casual skiing. Located near Big Bear Lake, it is quick and easy for Southern Californians to visit. With its abundant snowmaking, the conditions remain decent even in low-snow years. In all, it is a fun, sure-thing ski day or weekend.

I have found snow summit to be a fun time but it is always packed and the lifts are often full. If you plan on going make sure to think about the best times to go.

Snow Summit is good resort for beginners to advanced skiers or snowboarders. They don't have many black or double black runs that means less thrill for the advanced to expert skiers. They have a great options for freestyle ski and snowboard in their parks. Lifts are not the fastest only two lifts in the while resort are high speed. Because of its position close to the LA and Orange County it can get pretty busy on the weekends specially after snowy days. Plenty of restaurant options in town. Accommodation including Airbnb is close by to the resort.

Snow Summit can be a great place for families. It's really crowded on weekends. They have great large parking lots off site and frequent bus that drop you off at the front. That makes it very convenient on busy days. Weekdays are best Tuesday through Thursday. Lots of kids family during weekend's. Has a few good Park runs for snowboarders if you like that. The Mountain is big enough to get away from crowds if needed. They keep it well groomed. Just a really nice ski area to visit and plenty of room to relax if you're not skiing with lots of chairs outdoor seating. Also bear mountain very close by for more skiing and snow boarding. Some of my best skiing has been done there locally. Good luck and have fun.
