Why Revelstoke is Highly Rated for Snowboarders
Revelstoke absolutely crushes it for snowboarders, earning a well-deserved 4.64/5.00 rating from our community. What makes this place so special for riders? It's the terrain, pure and simple. Advanced snowboarder Megan sums it up perfectly: "The terrain had a wild vibe that felt adventurous. We found some amazing glades and some untouched powder that made our dreams come true." The resort delivers exactly what boarders crave - perfectly spaced glades, powder fields that go on for days, and enough steep terrain to keep things interesting. Expert snowboarder Sophia, who's ridden extensively in northern Japan, was "very happily surprised by the snow in Revy" with its "awesome tree lines, chutes and drops to hit!" Our users consistently rave about the quality and variety of terrain accessible from just one gondola and a couple of lifts.
The boarder culture here is great, with riders returning season after season for good reason. Advanced snowboarder Brenden calls it his "favorite resort, from the beautiful ski town to the gnarly cliffs and powder fields this place has it all." One thing to note though - intermediate snowboarder Trevor warns that "a lot of the groomed traverse tracks are pretty flat, a warning for snowboarders," so you'll need to keep your speed up on some sections. While the terrain park situation isn't the main draw here (this mountain is all about natural features and powder), the sheer variety of off-piste options more than makes up for it. Advanced snowboarder Steve had a brilliant time "snowboarding on and off piste, sub peak, and all bowls" before enjoying the convenience of après right at the base. The runs are incredibly long - we're talking 25-minute descents - giving you serious leg burn and maximum value from each lap.
