Why Revelstoke is Highly Rated for Snowboarders

Revelstoke has absolutely smashed it, earning a 4.64/5.00 rating from our snowboarding community - and it's clear why riders are so stoked on this place. The terrain here is a boarder's dream, with endless powder fields, perfectly spaced glades, and gnarly lines that keep you coming back for more. Advanced snowboarder Brenden raves about "the gnarly cliffs and powder fields" whilst Megan, also an advanced rider, couldn't contain her excitement: "The snow was deep, there was a ton of terrain, the views were unreal!" The mountain delivers proper big-mountain riding with serious vertical - you're looking at runs that can take 25 minutes top to bottom, giving you way more shred time and fewer lift queues.

What really sets Revy apart for boarders is how it delivers that wild, adventurous vibe without the faff. Intermediate rider Conor learned to board here and "had the most fun I've ever had at the snow" with its epic runs and awesome atmosphere. Jay, an expert snowboarder, keeps it simple: "If you ever get the chance to get to Revelstoke - Do it. There's riding for all levels, tons of terrain and epic snow." The resort might not have the biggest terrain park scene, but honestly, when you've got this much natural terrain to play with - the bowls, the trees, the endless powder stashes - you won't be missing it. Just be ready for some flat traverses between runs, but that's a small price to pay for the quality of riding you'll get.

Community Review

Revelstoke, British Columbia 🇨🇦
"I love Revelstoke as a mountain! The snow and terrain is amazing. Lots of places to explore and awesome lines to take as an experienced rider. Really good deep powder days during December, with awesome tree lines, chutes and drops to hit! Outside of peak periods the resort stays pretty quiet and virtually no lift lines, however going during holidays can become a little congested as there are only a handful of lifts. "

About the Snomad Ski Resort Awards

The Snomad Ski Resort Awards are the most authentic and unbiased recognition in the ski industry, based entirely on genuine guest experiences from real skiers and snowboarders.

Unlike other awards that rely on paid nominations or allow resorts to collect their own votes, ours are determined by verified ratings from actual visitors who have experienced these resorts firsthand.

This approach ensures that winning resorts truly deserve recognition based on guest satisfaction rather than marketing budgets or social media follower counts, providing you with trustworthy recommendations for your next mountain adventure.
