If you can go on the weekdays, worth every penny. All stats improve for advanced riders if you stick to alpental.

Scummit is home so I am biased. That being said this is the best beginner and family resort I have been too. The terrain park aint lacking either with consistent change and solid features. The weak spots are in terrain diversity and length. Not great for a back country or powder hound. But for a fun relatively cheap day close it more than gets the job done.

I have been skiing snoqualmie for over 15 years. It has always been a family friendly resort. It has wonderful programs for lessons, I have observed this from both a student perspective and coach perspective. I have coached freestyle skiing at this resort for 4 years and have always had a great experience with both the customers, staff and mountain. The park is top notch and allows for a range of skill levels. The overall range of snoqualmie itself is not great when it comes to long runs and short lines. However, after skiing this mountain for years, you learn the hidden gems. If your not satisfied with summit at snoqualmie its partner mountain (in the same resort), alpental, will definitely fill in those gaps!

I grew up going to Summit at Snoqualmie. I took my first lessons there and they were always organized and on time, and were able to move riders around weekly based on ability which was really convenient. The food and lodging here is also really good with a lot of great variety to choose from. The groomed runs are normally fantastic, however powder days are hard to come by as the fresh snow melts into slush pretty quickly because of the lower temperatures.

The Summit at Snoqualmie is the closest ski resort to Seattle. It's around 40 minutes drive. Great slopes and easy access. Parking is great too. To get a spot, you either come in very early or come after 2 pm. Food restaurants are good too and the staff is very friendly. Ski school is great and all packages mostly include ski equipment too. Season ski rentals are a good value too. I'd highly recommend it
