Timberline is a beautiful resort with history. Long runs with a wide variety of difficulty provides something for everybody. The snowcat to the to the caldera of mt.hood is a massive bonus. Beautiful lodge with great apres and dining options. Im looking forward to the next time I visit this resort!

Iconic scenery at the summit of Mt. Hood. The exterior of the lodge was used as the hotel from The Shining. Open almost all year, huge open runs of various difficulty.

I like the overall experience, being a beginner skier, at Timberline, although the hotel is pricey.

I have lived in Oregon for most of my life, and have been going to Timberline since I was a kid. It is the best... cozy, and homey, wonderful food and drinks, a fantastic roaring fireplace, a caring staff, and the best accomodations. There is even a fuzzy dog who lives there to keep you company. I always feel safe and relaxed here, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you participate in sports or not, Timberland is still such a worthwhile destination and worth the drive.
