We stayed in Hotel du Col half board. It is a buffet style restaurant with a variety of foods, all fine, nothing off the chart exciting, veggie options. Im lactose intolerant and they provided a choice of soy or almond milk on request. The evening meal comes with a half carafe of red or white wine included. Apres ski was crazy wild in GSK for the youth vote and The Igloo provides all day food/entertainment and good beer choices. There are a selection of small shops and a Carrefour as usual at these resorts.We didnt use ski rental or schools as we have our own/are experienced skiers. From Sestriere you can get across to France, across and down to other local areas, all with good ski areas. Weve stayed in Sestriere twice and would come back.
