A nice little resort - quiet, good value, great food. Limited amount of pistes for advanced skiers. Some excellent guided off-piste available.

Spent a week here (skiing 2nd-7th of Feb) in the Grand Hotel Paradiso. We were only a very short walk up some stairs from the bottom of the lifts, or a short walk down the road to the gondola to the glacier. The resort was pretty busy on the Sunday but lift queues were still okay and was then quiet enough during the week, I don't recall spending too long in any queues. In comparison, we got the coach one day to the nearby Madonna di Campiglio resort and that was incredibly busy wherever we went, so if you have the choice between the two I'd favor this resort.
The black run from the top of the glacier is a highlight, wonderful to ski on a morning, steep but fairly wide, great for getting low in a long carve.
We also got the chance to see the sunset from the top at 3000m as they opened the lifts at 6am one morning (I think this happens once a month but I'm not sure - worth checking if you're deciding which week to go! )
We didn't get a chance to try out one of the off-piste trails marked on the resort map, but from what we could see they looked like they would've been amazing. My friends who sampled the bars for apre also seemed to have a great time and Italian resorts always seem to be a little cheaper than French ones in my experience which is a nice bonus.
I didn't find any proper mogul runs to do which was a shame, but that's a minor issue, especially with plenty of challenging but accessible and fun terrain to the side of many of the pistes.
Good resort, would go again.

Great resort for learners, also plenty of varied terrain for more advanced snowboarders and skiers. Really snow sure due to altitude, nice and quiet except on the weekends when the locals are out, but even then it's not that busy! Good value food and booze, fast lifts

Well prepared and quite resort, no lines to the lifts, I would call it a family oriented resort. Great runs, not crowded at all. Not existing apres ski unfortunately and small choice of restaurants. Hard to get unless have a car or transfer form the hotel.

Great little resort for the family, offering fantastic views and easy to navigate resort. Easy connections to neighbouring resorts. Just enough to keep the advanced rider entertained i would say, but if the family is happy - I'm happy.

I went the week before the Christmas holidays so the resort was fairly quiet. Queues for the lifts were basically none existent except on the bottom lifts next to the ski school but even those moved quickly. It definitely started picking up in business as we headed towards Christmas. We had really good snow cover, all the pistes were open and we had 2 days of fresh powder. There was plenty of variety to the runs you could do so something to suit everyone. There was even a blue run (as well as red and black) on the glacier to give everyone a chance at glacier skiing! The resort is on the smaller side. It's easy to walk from one end to the other and there's a lot of little shops and a few bars along the way. I'd say it's probably not the most apres orientated resort in terms of partying but there's plenty of places to eat and drink as a break from skiing. I saw a lot of families and it was definitely a good resort from them. A solid choice for a relaxing break away with decent skiing.

Head to Ponte di Legno for quieter runs and more challenging reds/blacks. If using the ski school, get a hotel in the centre of Passo Tonale - the walk from the other end of town is a pain.

Way more interesting than it appears on a piste map. An excellent mix of open bowl skiing, steep descents from the glacier and wonderful, treeline skiing above the connected valley towns.
For 100KMs of piste, the lift pass is exceptional value and the resort itself is almost entirely ski-in, ski-out.
Long transfer from Milan but worth it!

Small resort but good for a long weekend. Some good beginner slopes near the town, difficulty progresses up the mountain. Not a lot of expert terrain. Some fun bars for apres but limited restaurants - not a very big town.

Will return to this resort for 3rd and 4th times this winter, High and snowsure its best for beginners and intermediates but good value on and off the slopes compared to France or Switzerland. Transfer times arent too bad. Plenty of on mountain restaurants and bars for those quick pit stops. 100km of pistes plus a glacier to ensure snow plus good snow making coverage

Went here on our minimoon and was great for a weeks skiing/boarding. Not the most exciting terrain or biggest area so wouldnt do more than a week here or necessarily rush to go back but did really enjoy it. Should be good for learners and beginners with a lot of wide gentle slopes available.

Great resort to learn in and improve. Quite high so reasonably snow sure, good snow making cover and there is a glacier so higher runs are usually well covered. Relatively easy to navigate.
Lots of good bars and restaurants in both Passo and Ponti. Good value at both lunchtime and in the evening. Great for families.
