Waterville is such a great east-coast option for families and kids that want to have a great time riding the mountain. Waterville has excellent beginner and intermediate options with 'The Pasture', 'Lower Meadows', 'Valley Run' and 'Stillness'. For black-diamond terrain, Waterville offers some of the best wide-trail, fall-line skiing in the east. Waterville has a great culture about the mountain, being laid-back, family friendly, and has always supported the comp-side of the snow-industry as well. Lastly, the "Freestyle Lounge" is the perfect place to grab a drink at the end of the day, and a hot cocoa for the kids. If you've skied waterville in years past, a lot has changed.
