Mark - advanced skier ⛷️
Feb, 7 - 2025
Nendaz was the first resort I ever skid, which as a complete beginner on day 1 significantly limits the skiable area of the wider 4 valley resort due to being locked by one tricky, steep red. Once youre competent to ski reds the wider resort is fantastic with links across to Siviez and Verbier which offer fantastic skiing, and for advanced skiers the infamous Mont Fort presents a very tricky run. That being said, if you are completely new and are content skiing the same 3-4 blues then this is a great beginner resort and excellent for kids. Apre was varied but ended quite early, with on slope bars being quite traditional. The town itself is nice and reasonable value with a good array of options for accommodation. The Hotel Nendaz 4 Vallees and Spa was lovely, but there are lots of cheaper ski in/out apartments for lower budgets.
