Nendaz is great for particularly young families as the main lift brings one to a small open area with gentle slopes where beginner and small child lessons may be overlooked from the Restaurent or bar, but leaving them to the instructors there is challenging skiing only minutes away. Indeed one can rapidly ski into the centre of the 4 valleys ski area with excellent piste and off piste options.
