Great resort with amazing park stubai zoo. Loads of freeride and powder fields next to slopes so safe. Long groomed runs. Easy to orient in resort. Not too busy lift lines.

I went in a spell of harsher weather, ploughs were out at evening prepping for the next day of skiing. Plenty of staff and rangers. Looked really organised slopes were well maintained and easy to find. Off piste and black routes, from what I saw were fantastic and well used. Inside of course like anywhere was expensive, basic set meals were upmost of 15 euros.
Good atmosphere and friendly people. I'd definitely go again ski pass was competitive price.

Staying at a town 10km away and then getting the bus each morning was easy and included in lift pass. Will be going back. Good range of runs

Brilliant location. Great snow and variation of runs. Particularly the black ski out.
Brilliant food. Perfect winter holiday setting.
Also highly recommend sport farm for ski hire.

Being so close to Innsbruck is a huge advantage although getting to slopes in the morning can see a long wait at the base station

I have visited Stubai Glacier on a number of occasions over the years, initially with the British Army, but in more recent years, with a group of families.
Most accommodation is a ski bus ride away from the Glacier, but the bus is frequent and efficient.
The family ski area is ideal for small children and beginners, with plenty of other options for both intermediate and advanced skiers.
The food and drink in the mountain is very reasonably priced and very tasty (I recommend the goulash soup), although it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit during busy periods.
Our children attended ski school for the first 2 times we took them, and they made amazing progress.
Im not one for jumps etc, but the Stubai zoo snow park looks amazing, with jumps to suit all abilities.
There are some large, safe powder areas that are easily accessible just off the pistes.
I thoroughly recommend the Wilde Grubn ski way down to the bottom gondola station.
All in all, a very good ski area with enough terrain to keep you entertained for a week, as long as youre not looking for a new piste every run.

Fantastic resort offering a range of technical or gentle slopes. Loads of back country options too. The snow park is world class level. 2500m plus pistes guarantee snow. Great apres bar at the bottom of the lifts and good transport into the villages. Neustift has some fantastic restaurants and bars with a wide range of hotels and apartments. Only a 25 minute drive from innsbruck airport. Once youve been, I can guarantee you will return.

Overall a fun and interesting resort. While it was very busy with racing while I was there it provided a good combination of on and off piste slopes making it easy to ski different combinations each day.

I was in stubai Glacier for 2 weeks and skid 11 times over the 14 days.
In my opinion Stubai is a great little ski resort with plenty of stations around the mountain for food coffee and beers, theres 1 Apre bar called the umbrella bar which gets lively on a weekend after 4-5pm
Free Bus rides from all local towns into the resort with a ski pass which run roughly every 15 minutes
Over the 11 days only 3 times were the piste bashed however I believe this was due to the snow fall and weather
Great resort would recommend for families but not for party goers
