Spent 5 days skiing in mid April, was amazed how good the snow conditions so late in the season. Found some great waist deep powder in the margins but we weren't able to explore off piest as we didn't have avy kit. Pros: the snow conditions were amazing, infrastructure (heated bubble lifts), selection of restaurants and shops on the mountain, very accessible from Innsbruck airport. Cons: completed all the runs in 1.5 days so the resort smaller than average and there wasn't a big apre scene while we were there. Overall, I'd go back if I wasn't able to get out earlier in the season or if I was going with family and wanted to have a few days doing something else as we were a 20min bus ride to Innsbruck. Otherwise my preference would be a larger resort with more varied runs.

This is a resort I return back to time and again. The lift capacity is outstanding and the groomed slopes for all abilities to learn and improve. It is th large amount of off piste I like. The hight makes it amazingly snow sure even when other well known resorts are struggling.

Great nursery area and great resort . Had a fantastic week here. Only con is some of the blue runs are quiet steep so although they are wide some beginners may find them intimidating.

Very good slopes for carving. Excellent snow conditions and great off piste departments! Lifts could be a little bit faster and après-ski possibilities could be better. But if u wanna have a great skiing day with great conditions, ist perfect

Resort: Quite small but ideal for family groups with enough range of runs(blues&reds) to test ability but also a good level of runs to teach your kids on. The pistes were well groomed and in general good condition. Lifts were moderately busy but the speed often meant the queues went down quickly. The routes Fernau and Wild GrubN are the only way to ski off the mountain to the Apres bar at the base. If youre not a competent skier Id generally give this a swerve as you become a hazard to others on the route. Wild GrubN gets abit of a mess at the base too. Ski Pass. Reasonably priced and if you are travelling with a u10 they get theirs free for the same duration as the paying adults ski pass. Food & Drink. There are a good range of restaurants on piste. The largest one being around the Big Family Ski area. Prices are what youd come to expect on piste. Not as expensive as other European Ski resorts. Apres prices are very good and similar to what you would pay if you werent at a ski resort. Ski Bus. I would aim to get the earlier buses for first lift. Later ones are usually full as the Ski schools dont start until later so you get caught in essentially the school run. Lift pass gets you free us of transport up and down the Valley. Rental. Intersport provide ski rentals at the base and at the Gamsgarten piste station. You can also check your skis in on an evening to not carry them back down the mountain. SkiSet is also in Neustift which provides a very budget friendly service. Accomodation. Accomodation throughout the valley is very good and caters to every budget. Most often have a ski and boot storage aswell as provide a private ski bus. Pros U10s ski pass Cheap food and drink Not alot of queues Cons Packed Ski buses 2 ways off the mountain to Apres

Have visited a couple of times and we will definitely be back for more. Great for the family and the food is so good!

Great resort - lots of groomed posted to working your carving drills. Accommodation in the nearby Neustift. Great food on the slopes. I ski and my buddy snowboards. We are both happy here.
