Taos is great for intermediate to expert riders. There are enough greens to keep beginners busy, but it's definitely not a mountain designed for them. They've got steep trees everywhere, some insane chutes on both sides of the ridge, and a crazy amount of steeps everywhere as well. West Basin Ridge offers the most extreme terrain at Taos. They have a lot of very long, very demanding mogul black and double black runs as well. Ski school is one of the best in the entire country too!
