The ski resort probably has the most difficult terrain in New Hampshire. The tree runs when they are open are unmatched. The groomers however you have to be careful of. Since the resort is run by the state they dont do the best job grooming and since they see a lot of wind they can be very icy. They also can see wind hold quite often since they are in the notch. It can also get very cold so I suggest bringing a bunch of layers or you will not have a good time skiing. The park is just okay they dont really have a beginner park but if you are a big jump Person they can make an awesome jump line just make sure to read the report before you go. Now they would have arguably the hardest trail in NH called djs tramline. It very rarely opens but if you live a challenge it is worth the trip just for that run. It needs a lot of snow because it is a rock field. It is very tight and steep with rocks sticking out everywhere. If you go to cannon and catch it on a good day it can be an excellent resort but if it is a bad day it can be the worst day of skiing you have ever had. Just make sure before you go keep an eye on the weather and read the mountain report.
