Boasting the highest ski terrain in New Hampshire, Cannon Mountain has diverse terrain spread across two mountains. It has the first aerial tramway, carrying 140 passengers to the peak across two tram cars. The tram entrance is also home to the New England Ski Museum. This state-owned ski resort offers 9 lifts servicing 165 acres. While its not the largest resort in the area, Cannon Mountain offers some of the most difficult on-piste skiing available in the US North East. Grab a snack at the summit café or enjoy a beer at the base area, overlooking Echo Lake with excellent Mountain Views. Notable US Olympian Bode Miller grew up skiing this mountain.
