Discovered this hidden gem a few years ago on a trip to Idaho and was shocked to find some of the best powder conditions I have ever had the chance to ski. Between the powder, the vast tree area where you can ski without a soul in sight, and never having to wait to get on a lift, this resort has become a favorite. The resort is very quiet, had a very cozy and inviting lodge, and had very reasonable prices across the board. Love this relaxed little resort!

I love snowboarding. This would give me an opportunity to save money from rentals and get better. New gear would be awesome and such a big step for me. Snowboarding is the only thing in winter i enjoy.

I grew up on pomerelle snow, it is one of my favorite resorts of all time just for the simple nostalgia. That said the resort is not grandiose or overly great in any one area. It is a smaller mountain with two lifts, a nice crew that builds a small terrain park at the base and a larger at the top. It has some beautiful tree runs but with the limited size they quickly become familiar. The snow can be hit or miss, they do tend to have more snow in Idaho than the majority of the other resorts, powder days can be magical. With the additional benefit of offering night skiing Pomerelle mountain resort is a good family oriented and family operated resort that has some wonderful runs but will leave experienced riders wanting more.

I love skiing at Pommerelle Mountain. I ski with four kids there ages 17, 16, 11, and eight. Two of my kids learned to ski here and they have a great ski school and a great bunny Hill to learn on. My two youngest kids were skiing on the big mountain by the end of their first day. Pomerelle gets over 500 inches of snow on average each year and is a great place to go if youre looking to avoid crowds. With lift tickets priced at 60 bucks or so its also a great value!
