Les Carroz might be a little low nowadays, often the snow/pistes dont reach down into resort. You can get up/down by the telecabin, but not always ski back home at the end of the day. If you have a car and the snow doesnt reach down to Les Carroz, an alternative is to drive to the Vernant Chair Lift (with lots of free parking), and ski the higher slopes around Flaine. Resort is family friendly and free from banging Apres. Bistro Grill du Gron is excellent if youre a carnivore
