La Grave la Meije - Community Reviews & Ratings

As a skier who has seen quite some ski resorts all over the globe, I can say with confidence that La Grave is one of a kind. Just a squeeky old gondola filled with likeminded people, a village that has a vibe I've never seen before and I believe only one groomed run! Furthermore the gnarliest terrain you can imagine. Not a place for the faint hearted and I can only advice to hire a local guide for the first few days. Bring your mountaineering kit and enjoy! If I have to compare la Grave to another resort, the one that pops up is Gulmarg, Kashmir (though the terrain in La Grave can be way more demanding). My absolute favorite by far!
