Sasquatch is an older resort. There are lunch and dinner options and apres but its 1 pub , so not a lot of variety.
Accommodation is by booking a cabin. Rates are usually reasonable and can stay for a weekend without breaking the bank.
Sasquatch gets an amazing amount of snow. But doesnt have a lot of lifts and most of them are slower. Its a great learning mountain, or great for a cheaper get away. There is something black terrain they can be challenging and amazing when theres fresh snow. Most of the mountain is fairly snowboarding friendly. Some good blue runs , not a lot of tree runs and a good beginning area. Lessons were easy to book and I felt like the kids learned from the instructor
Lines arent usually that long. Prices are good.
For a family on a budget, Sasquatch beats Whistler. Just dont expect to do much apres.
Getting to Sasquatch is a bit of a challenge. Theres a gravel road and you are required to carry chains. It feels a bit treacherous but its fine.
