Amazing views, Wanaka is a great town, lots of amazing restaurants and night life. Also close to queenstown which has lots of options, Ayburn worth a visit.

Best resort Ive visited. Definitely has shortcomings, like no on-mountain accomodation and a quiet apres scene, but its more than made up for the general feel of the place - like the edge of the world!! The people are very friendly and are all happy to be there. Unlike Europe, very low key vibe but still great beers and the local skiers are very very talented. A must-do trip!!!

Grew up skiing this resort, one of my favourite resort (and I've skied in Japan, Canada, USA and Europe) for it's unique terrain and playful off piste options. It only has 2 main chairlifts but it accesses so much terrain and you're never waiting around too long for the lift
